Meet Dr. Jen
Hi there, and welcome! I’m so glad you’ve taken the time to learn a bit about me. I’ve been on quite a journey, filled with learning and growth, and I’m thrilled to be living my dream as a speaker, teacher, and collaborator. My passion lies in bridging the gap between education and workforce development, always keeping human connection and compassion at the core of everything I do, both professionally and personally.
Currently, I serve as the Assistant Director for Workforce Grants at Clark University where I lead and manage pivotal Information Technology Department of Labor grants.
With a background in education and administration, I’ve worn many hats—Guidance Counselor, Adjunct Professor, Associate Registrar, consultant, and Director of Human Resources and Operations. Now, I find great joy in the collaborative work of integrating higher education with workforce development, all while reminding people of our shared humanity and the importance of treating each other with kindness and compassion.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Medaille College, a Master’s in Counseling and Human Services from Canisius College, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration and Policy from the University of Florida.
Outside of academia, I’m deeply involved in leadership development consulting and motivational speaking, where I bring my experience and insights to a wide range of organizations, from non-profits to corporate giants.
In my spare time, I focus on both personal and professional growth, giving back to my community and human-kind as a whole by helping and encouraging others to shine.
